International students are an important presence on college campuses. They add diversity, revenue, and jobs. Colleges and universities are looking for ways to reach out to international students. How can you attract international students to your college or university? BUILD YOUR ONLINE PRESENCE
Take a look at your website. Is it easy to navigate? Provide necessary content, and make sure that it is easy to access. We recommend creating a microsite for international students. This puts information that they need right at their fingertips. Such information includes travel information, visa information, international student clubs on campus, campus activities, etc.
Provide content to international students in their native language. What languages do you translate into? Identify your focus countries. Research what languages are spoken there. Translating website content creates a welcoming atmosphere right away.
Add a virtual campus tour. This is a great way to bring your campus to your prospective students. (It’s not as easy for them to visit.) A virtual tour can provide a sense of atmosphere and also shows off campus facilities.
TELL A STORY
